What is a Switchgear?
Withing an electric power system, switchgear is the term used for the combination of electrical disconnection switches, fuses or circuit breakers which are used to control protect and isolate electrical equipment.
Switchgear is used to de-energize equipment as well as to allow work to be done , and also to clear faults downstream.
